David C. Smith

David C. Smith (born August 10, 1952, in Youngstown, Ohio) served for sixteen years as the managing editor (research), of The Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and managing editor, JAAOS Global Research and Reviews. He is the author of nearly two dozen novels and of many short stories and articles, as well as of a post-secondary English grammar textbook. He lives in Palatine, Illinois, with his wife, Janine, and their daughter, Lily; their cats, Rosebud and Corabelle; and their anole, Spikes.
